Looking at Science Clubs through the lens of academic productions

The research that supported this article, of a qualitative-quantitative nature and bibliographical nature, aimed to investigate publications on Science Clubs between 2013 and 2022. The work was carried out by searching the Brazilian Journal of Rural Education, the annals of the National Meeting of Research in Science Education (ENPEC), the Online Scientific Electronic Library (SciELO), the Digital Database of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), and the Capes Theses and Dissertations Catalog (CTDC). To collect the data, the target audience studied, cited authors, data collection instruments, and the states in which the research was conducted were researched, which were computed in table form. The results pointed out differences in the topics addressed, those investigated, data collection instruments, and objectives. Regarding the authors, types of analysis, states, and conclusions, the research presented similarities. In conclusion, it can be noted that the CCs are addressing activities originating from their territories, relating their context to scientific research, forming critical and reflective subjects of their reality.
