This research aims to identify the main trends surrounding the theme of Experimentation. To this end, we opted for an exploratory study, going through a bibliographical review carried out on the Lattes Platform regarding leaders in the area of Natural Sciences whose research focuses on Experimentation linked to other themes. For the analyses, we followed Discursive Textual Analysis (ATD) and thus found four categories that are outlined throughout the writing, namely: i) Teachers' conceptions about Experimentation; ii) Experimentation for the formation of concepts; iii) Experimentation in curricular documents and iv) Experimentation through technology and digital interfaces. During the analyses, we arrived at results that point to significant trends over time (2018-2022), which go hand in hand with the context of Experimentation, in an attempt to expand the possibilities of experimental work, towards new challenges for teacher training courses and researchers in the area of Science Education.
