This article presents a theoretical mapping of Brazilian theses and dissertations that deal with hybrid teaching in Higher Education. It aims to understand how Brazilian productions: theses and dissertations address the theme: blended learning, and what are their contributions to Higher Education. The searches were carried out in the following databases: BDTD and CAPES, without stipulating a period. In this process, the search terms used were: “hybrid teaching”; "education"; "teaching". After reading the titles and abstracts of the productions found, ten productions were selected for analysis. In the theoretical framework, authors referring to hybrid teaching are presented. The methodology used for the searches was the theoretical mapping and for the analysis of the productions, the method used was the Discursive Textual Analysis. It is considered, according to the analysis carried out, that the development of teaching in the hybrid format requires higher education institutions to provide support to meet the demands of students, namely: access to technologies; service focused on learning difficulties; as well as the development of hybrid teaching models. Furthermore, they emphasize the need for continued training of teachers and the search for innovative practices in the classroom.
