This work presents the conceptions of academics about active methodologies in teaching, specifically in the areas of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and aims to analyze the narratives in the discussion forum of the subjects offered in the first semester of the lato sensu Postgraduate course in Teaching of Science and Mathematics Education of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás. The trainers proposed reflective writing on the understanding of academics and the potential of using methodologies in teaching. Thus, the discussion forum enables interaction between academics through reflective writing, in this movement, they are given the opportunity to discuss issues and make dialogues that permeate the school context. The methodology was characterized as qualitative and to analyze the narratives of academics participating in the specialization course that constitute the research corpus, we adopted Content Analysis. We conclude that, by providing these interactive environments such as the forum, it allows subjects to interact, share their experiences and classroom experiences. Thus, continuing education should allow spaces for reflection on teaching practice, allowing, through the training process, the (re)configuration of pedagogical practices and contributing to the constitution of teachers.
