Abstract

This research aims to understand how the Mathematics Teacher Specialized Knowledge (MTSK) model has been used in Brazilian theses. To this end, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was carried out as a research method, using as databases the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES); the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD); and Google Scholar. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, six productions were selected and inventoried. The analysis of the results indicated that half of the theses focus their studies on knowledge linked to the Mathematical Knowledge (MK) domain. In addition, three of the six productions highlight the importance of research on the specialized knowledge of the teacher trainer. Finally, Finally, they all point to the teacher's belief as the basic center of the model.
