Abstract

The Inverted Classroom is characterized by the inversion of the model considered traditional of teaching, which in general consists of an expository class, where the teacher presents and comments on the content to be worked in the classroom space and passes activities to that students do at home. That said, we present a proposal developed with the objective of helping in the teaching of the Photoelectric Effect content, seeking to approach the topic in a clear and objective way, based on the school reality and taking into account the time allocated to Physics classes. In this work, a work guide is proposed that uses the methodology of the Inverted Classroom (IAS). Youtube videos and PDF materials are made available to students as auxiliary tools for the study of the content. The activities proposed to the students are the presentation of a seminar containing the main points of the content and the production of a short video covering the subject. We hope that this material can help other teachers who want to work with the Photoelectric Effect content in a different way, leaving the professional free to make adjustments according to their reality, while preserving the essence of SAI.
