Abstract

An educational product that discusses gender diversity in Science, originally developed for the History and Philosophy of Science curriculum component of the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), Brazil, is presented. The objective is to break the silence and open doors for the debate on diversity in different spaces, discussing gender diversity in Science, in order to provoke problems, discussions and reflections in the context of initial and continuing teacher education. In this sense, we present a selection of pedagogical activities from the curricular component, a proposal that aims to develop problems, discussions and reflections aimed at teachers in initial and continuing education. The intention is not to close the debate, but to mobilize and generate provocations on the topic.
