Abstract

This article analyzes, from the documentary "Good to see you alive" (1989), directed by Lucia Murat, issues related to the memories of the experience of a group of former militants Women Brazilian revolutionary left, who suffered and survived the physical torture and psychological during their arrests that occurred between 1960 and 1970. during this period Brazil was under the auspices of a civilian-military dictatorship. It is, above all, an effort to understand, through reflections and relations between history and memory, as these women deal with their traumatic experiences.
