Abstract

The following text aims to analyze how amerindian mythological narratives can assist in the teaching of Indigenous History and Culture in the classroom in order to understand how the changes of perspective in representations about ethnic identities in Latin America, as well as opposition between the Eurocentric epistemological assumptions and the multiethnic emergencies in the postcolonial contexts aim to undertake a critique of modern paradigmatic models in favor of an education focused on interculturality.
