The deepening of capitalist crisis in the last decades explains the need of the plasticity of metropolis. To ensure the production and circulation of capital, the state and private capital are producing new spaces turning the use and the meaning of places. This transformation requires the devaluation and (re)valuation of metropolis parts, and the denial to the right to live in it, specially for working class people. Thus, the use of the space in metropolis, is exposed to the violence of the logic of production productive spaces, resulting in the expulsion of thousands of inhabitants, especially the poorest, far from the centralities.
