The Supervised Internship for Teaching in Biology is a mandatory curricular component for Biological Sciences graduates, it is the moment when these students have the chance to know the present reality within a classroom and a greater approximation between theory and practice, making it possible to reflect and shape yourself as a future professional.Therefore, this article is an experience report on the supervised internship in Biology, making notes and pertinent experiences regarding the formation of “being a teacher”, and how to act within the classroom in accordance with the reality of the school, choose to use practices that are beneficial to your students, beyond the curriculum.Thus, the experiences of the internship allowed a broader look at teacher education, making possible to observe, in practice, education as a political tool.
