This paper discusses three fundamental historical dimensions of the duration, based on Fernand Braudel’s conceptions and in the concepts of structure, conjuncture and fact (évènement). A didactic model of this discussion is presented and may be used to teach History at college level, especially concerning Modern History and Contemporary History.
