LGBT parades have constituted a great popular festival in the cities where they are held. The article examines some issues concerning the spatiality, considering the “excesses” that can be observed in popular festivities, and how they trigger both breaks and opportunities to return to the order, overcoming and ratification of worldviews. We approached the parades as “complete social event”, attempting to exploit certain moral relations, political, religious involved in the popular festival. Methodologically our analysis is guided by holdings, observations and interviews in goianiense parade, though whenever possible we use other contexts for example.
