Abstract

Urban research shows that is possible to think the city and the urban from several approaches and theoretical methodological tendencies. This paper presents one of these possibilities, to say, the analysis of the city from the point of view found in Henri Lefebvre writings. In this source of thought, the foundation of the argument inside this text is focused on a category of analysis: the production/reproduction. When its development puts inside the center of debate (about the modern world, today) the realization of the society as an urban society and the space as worldwide space from de city's explosion.
