Abstract

This paper critically discusses the relationship between perception and experience of space which is produced by two different forms of representation: cinema and architecture. In the context of the construction of a “geography of the moving image”, an analysis of the representation of urban space in the Brazilian film Redentor (Cláudio Torres, 2004) is presented.
