The following article searches to reflect on the Autonomous Community ‘Utopia e Luta’ (Porto Alegre, Brazil), its history, its organization and its power and quotidian relations that engender the search for self-management. For such, we bring to the lector a reflection around self-management and anarchism, putting the emphasis in the ‘specifist’ (especifista) anarchism. Starting from this brief rehearse, is made and intersection between the conceptions of politic organization, of democracy, of society project and of communitarian relations endorsed by the people living in “Utopia e Luta” with some aspects of the anarchism. It is about, therefore, of relating the potentialities and the presence of self-management as a mechanism of resistance to capitalism and the forms of organizations historically authoritarians, configuring dissident territories.
