TRANSFORMACIONES DEL ESPACIO URBANO, CONSIDERACIONES PARA UNA METODOLOGIA DE APROXIMACIÓN

Abstract

The transformation of the contemporary city is currently the object of study of several disciplines. Its complexity, rapid changes, and the specificity of each and every field of work cause a multiplicity of visions difficult to integrate into a synthesis. The text proposes a specific approach which, taking advantage of some theoretical concepts, help us finding a comprehensive method to integrate complementary reading vectors. We will first evaluate the possibility of reading fragments, to deepen on the study of the city. Secondly, we will show a hypothesis on the possibility of linking those fragments from tension vectors, so they are understood as part of a process, in which they are both cause and effect. Finally we expose an example of the proposed methodology.
