Abstract

In this study, thematic approaches in the field of Textile Chemistry based on Case Study, to expand students' view of the importance of Chemistry in society. Three investigative cases were produced accompanied by resolution guides to assist the teacher in implementing the didactic resource in Chemistry classes in Basic Education and adapted for Higher Education. The cases deal with the composition of fabrics used in sports shirts and underwear, discussing their chemical nature based on contents such as chemical bonds, organic functions, and polarity. The material was developed on an interactive platform so students and teachers can access it digitally. As future possibilities, new works can be published with the results of case applications by basic education teachers, as well as the validation of teachers against the didactic material prepared.
