The use of playful games during the curricular internship in Science: contributions to the learning process

Currently, a lot has been said about the game-based role, during the teaching-learning process, however there are many inconsistencies about the application of the game-based methodology. These activities correspond to a group of situations, dynamics and games essential for cognitive, social and cultural development of individuals, and They are experienced during all life. When we grow old, we still like card games, game boards, arcade and video game, and we did not identify the playfulness in these activities. In addition, these activities, provide temporary pleasure, promote the diverse knowledge construction, and talking about Science teaching, the game-based methodology may contribute for the comprehension of difficult issues. Therefore, this academic work, aims to emphasize the importance of game-based methodology for the knowledge construction and Science teaching-learning process, highlighting authors who contributed for the consolidation of this methodology. Also, it highlights some game-based methodology developed by the author, while graduating student in Biological Science Licentiate Course, of Instituto Federal Farroupilha (IFFar), used during the supervised academic training with students of the sixth grade of Elementary School, in order to simplify the Science learning.
