In this work an exercise of pedagogical imagination is presented, in the perspective presented by Skovsmose, in order to investigate the potentialities and possible contributions of virtual learning objects - OVA developed with GeoGebra software in the study of concepts related to trigonometry. The research was developed from an activity proposed in the curricular component of Teaching Methodology in a degree course in Mathematics. A didactic sequence was proposed and presented based on the OVA development, aiming at learning the concepts related to thestudy object. Based on the discussions and feedback from the class, some adjustments were made to the OVA and a possibilities study was developed. Evidences were identified that the OVA use can help in the learning process and in the understanding of concepts and properties of trigonometry by the students.
