Abstract

This article seeks to understand how the teaching method influences teaching practice, based on testimonies of 13 Science and Mathematics teachers, entering a Postgraduate Program in this area at a Community University of Rio Grande do Sul. This is a qualitative research, carried out during the first semester of 2022, whose answers to two questions were treated through Discursive Textual Analysis - DTA, resulting in three final categories: Rethinking teaching practice and student protagonism; Teaching strategies focused on the contextualization of content; Teaching experience and teaching methods.
