Abstract

The present study, based on the discussions that permeate the issue of Physics teaching, has the general objective of analyzing the discourses on Physics teaching disseminated in reports from the internet. Search is thus identify advances and difficulties in teaching / learning physics found in the classroom, especially in basic education. It was initially performed a literature search on the subject so that there was the theoretical basis necessary to carry out this work. Then it established the choice of articles published between the years 2002-2013 in wide circulation sites that address the issue in question. At the end of the survey, it was found that the media passes a discouraging and stigmatizing image of public education. With regard especially to the teaching of physics, it was observed that there are still many obstacles, which extend from teacher training to the precarious structure offered by schools. It was also evident that there is little emphasis aimed at science in elementary school, indicating a need to reform the curriculum.
