Observational internship reports: importance of diagnosis in teacher education

The Supervised Internship represents a very relevant factor in the teacher training process, providing the academic with an opportunity to put theory into practice, adapting it to reality. This report is based on the experiences lived during the supervised participatory observational internship of the Biological Sciences Degree course, carried out in the non-school settings, which was carried out in the laboratory environment of UFPI - CSHNB and, school, developed in the area of Science of Elementary education from 6th to 9th grade in a municipal school and in the area of Biology in Secondary Education (3rd year) at the Federal Institute of Education, in the city of Picos-PI. The purpose of this paper is to present the experiences of observation and participation activities in non-school and school observational internship, experienced during the Biological Sciences Degree course, UFPI, highlighting the positive points and the difficulties encountered. The experience in possible future professional environments provided great learning related to teaching practice, in addition to instigating interest about the biologist's work in scientific and educational environments.
