We began the work by focusing on the concept of interdisciplinarity and its role in the curriculum. Subsequently, the research advances to the investigation of interdisciplinarity in the skills of the BNCC. As a result, we can confirm that the BNCC presents an interdisciplinary focus in its competencies and skills. However, the document does not provide guidance for teachers from different areas to engage in dialogue and plan interdisciplinary work.
