This paper tries to show that, in terms of diplomacy, Brazil and Argentina were never as close as during developmentalism, at the end of the 1950’s and beginning of the 1960’s. Using as reference Arturo Frondizi Archival Fonds, newly open to researchers, Argentinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Archives, Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Archives and bibliography on the subject, this work restates the question about integration using new documental evidence.
