This paper intends to hold a discussion on contemporary issues related to the history and relationship between the media, highlighting the role of the Internet in the production of memory and historical artifacts in the virtual universe. It is emphasized so the paradoxes produced by a kind of "memo-story" underscores the difficulty we select face information overload and the challenges of preserving the past for the future.In search of a key to understanding problems, there will be a dialogue with Paul Ricoeur and his reflections on the abuse of memory and forgetting.
