the case of the agrarian policy

The text aims to discuss how the agrarian policy advocated by the sectors related to agricultural business in Santa Catarina, located in the state apparatus over the decades of 1950 and 1960, found means to enforce its guidelines and interests with the establishment of the military dictatorship from 1964. The reduction of the agrarian question the issue of low labor productivity, without questioning the structure of land ownership, resulted in public policies associated with business interests in the sector.
