Abstract

This article presents the history of technology in its specificities. More than discussing cases of history of technology, this article aims to discuss this field as a specific field of historical knowledge, separated from the history of science. I present a discussion of history of technology, opening a wide view of brute force technology as analytical category to understand present day history in a global way
