Abstract

This article is a study of the situation of the Brazilian economy during the years that the country was directly involved in World War II (1942 - 1945). It was noticed that among the population of the time, there was a great deal of concern that resources would be scarce; a government campaign of work mobilization, and relations with the enterprise sector. Above all, it deals with an effort to understand the various sectors of the population which were a target of the mobilization campaign that had as their aim a violent framing following the ideals of the order known as Estado Novo (1937-1945).
