Abstract

The aim of this text is to narrate the trajectory of Fronteiras: Revista Catarinense de História (FRCH), showing how the periodical has undergone various changes since its creation and has shaped itself to meet the expectations of readers, authors, regulatory and development agencies, as well as indexing bases in recent years. As sources, I used: the minutes of the association's meetings, data extracted from the OJS, documents from the ANPUH-SC archives, past publications and others. The journal has made progress in achieving the guidelines for academic publications, maintaining its commitment to disseminating scientific knowledge and the scope of the journal.
