Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the indigenous history from memories. This document was constructed based on analysis of a text produced in a school project, during history lessons related to memories from the beggining of 20th century. The relevance of this research is in using oral history dialoguing with other sources for understanding memory disputes and many kinds of cultural manifestations to people who know little about the non-whites, who occupied Santa Catarina lands, before the arrival of the european colonizers.
