This article proposes a historiographic analysis of grape cultivation in the city and festivals that celebrate this product, especially Grape Festival and Harvest Festival, as well as the process of loss of popularity they face considering both festivities are included in the calendar of the city known as the capital of grape and wine and spotlight of traditional vitiviniculture in the estate of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
