A utilização de experimentos químicos em peças de teatro científico no evento Ciência em Cena

Abstract

Scientific theater is the interaction between Science and Art, which science is the central theme of the plots. Therefore, this work aims to identify the theater plays with themes of chemistry that use experimentation as the central theme of the stagings presented throughout all editions of the event Ciência em Cena – Theater Festival and Scientific Dissemination. Data were collected from internet search engines and consisted of video-recorded presentations and synopses of the pieces. Subsequently, the data were tabulated and plays identified with themes related to chemistry, theater groups that address chemistry, the origin of groups and plays that address experimentation. The data show that the chemical theme is the most recurrent at the event and that experimentation is the most discussed theme in the pieces focused on Chemistry.
