This study is part of an ongoing professional master's degree research whose theme deals with classroom management in initial teacher training. Classroom management comprises a set of actions taken by the teacher to facilitate teaching and student learning. However, the literature shows that this is a topic little discussed in initial training, which contributes to teachers, especially those at the beginning of their careers, experiencing difficulties in pedagogical practice. Faced with this problem, and in order to learn about recent publications on the topic, we carried out a literature review according to the DataCon methodology. As results, we observed varied themes related to classroom management, such as indiscipline, difficulties in pedagogical planning, among others. It was also possible to identify the authors frequently used as a theoretical basis in these researches. We understand that the literature review is crucial for the researcher to make more assertive and well-founded choices in the development of his study, and classroom management must be a topic discussed widely and with intervention actions in initial training, relating theory to practice and supporting students in their future teaching work in a more secure way.
