Augmented Reality (AR) provides innovative and enjoyable interaction techniques. When combined with learning, it enables a playful experience that enhances and stimulates children's attention and interest. This work presents the development of the Cores e Formas software, designed for children aged three to six to explore colors and geometric shapes. To achieve this, principles of Human-Computer Interaction and Design were applied to guide the research and establish essential guidelines for effectively conducting the activity with AR, a desktop computer, a camera, and markers in an educational environment. Practical user tests were conducted, and a questionnaire was applied to assess the interaction of both children and tutors. As a result, the Cores e Formas software was developed, along with the foundation for guiding the use of the activity in school environments, promoting effective and enjoyable learning.
