Abstract

The periodic table plays a fundamental role in understanding the individual and collective characteristics of chemical elements, and is essential for understanding advanced concepts in high school chemistry. With this in mind, the aim of this work was to develop and apply a digital game aimed at teaching the concepts of the periodic table to fifty high school students. The methodology employed included the use of a diagnostic questionnaire and pre-and post-game evaluations to measure motivation and learning progress. The results showed a significant improvement in both motivation and student performance.
