A proposal for the development of computational thinking in the area of Natural Sciences

The present work brings the development of a proposal on the theme of electric energy and its application through the Scratch software, with questions and explanations. Through interaction with Scratch, we hope that students acquire the necessary knowledge to understand the importance of conscious use of electrical energy and analyze energy consumption in their own home. The activity was designed with the aim of developing some skills related to the knowledge of science for the 8th year of elementary school, proposed by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and the development of computational thinking skills.
