Learning is a complex process mediated through the formulation of new brain connections by the nervous system. Two areas that seek to study how this process happens are Education and Neuroscience. Thus, the objective of this study was to verify the use of Neuroscience knowledge by high school biology teachers from public schools in Iguatu-CE, for the development of the teaching and learning process of students. The methodology used was qualitative following Bardin's method of analysis, whose questions were categorized and analyzed. It is concluded that teachers have little knowledge about Neuroscience, however, realize the importance of this area of knowledge to strengthen the teaching and learning process and apply, even indirectly, knowledge of this area.
