Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the production of studies addressing technological applications in interactive art, highlighting their impact on the artistic experience. It was developed through a systematic review, carried out on the Portal Periódicos CAPES. Data were analyzed by Content Analysis, defining three categories a priori: 1- Technologies Used in Interactive Art; 2- User Interfaces and Experiences; 3- Applications in Specific Contexts. Results indicate that the application of technological resources in the artistic context amplifies the multiplicity and richness of artistic creation and enjoyment, based on interactivity. Active interaction modifies the very nature of the work of art, by challenging the conventions of authorship and participation, redefining the creative process, shaping and transforming itself, based on the responses of the spectators as co-authors, creating a unique and changeable experience. The studies indicated the success of the application of interactive art in the education sector, transforming the teaching and learning processes; in the health area, improving well-being and aiding in rehabilitation; and in entertainment, contributing significantly to quality of life, fun and socialization.
