EDUCATION IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC: HOW TEACHERS’ MENTAL HEALTH IS

This text addresses the theme of teachers’ mental health and its consequences during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is characterized as a theoretical study of reflexive character in which the analysis presents three concepts that emerged in the study and ground the discussion brought in the text: mental health; teacher malaise; and the consequences of the pandemic for teachers. Based on the concepts mentioned, the relationship between these and the pandemic moment is discussed and it is concluded that the mental health of teachers was and is weakened in the face of the global health emergency situation and the uncertainties of the moment experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic.
