The objective of this article is to show the urgent necessity for philosophical self-criticism regarding the insufficiency of Eurocentric authors in considering the interests of black and indigenous people. As an example, we present the theses of two of the greatest critics of the fundamental institutions of Eurocentrism (the State and the Church) within Europe itself: Arthur Schopenhauer and Friedrich Nietzsche. We show how the institutions previously mentioned are valued similarly in Brazil. In that perspective, we assert the importance of the existence of brazilian philosophies that deviate from the ideal of protecting Christian and state principles. Furthermore, we present one of them based on empirical experiences in the forests and streets.
