Field educacion: discussions on the national scene based on postgraduate research

The present article has as a purpose to present a mapping and analysis of works through a survey with the theme of Rural Education and teacher training, focusing on qualification in Mathematics, in master's and doctoral works elaborated in the Brazilian national scenario. To develop this article, theoretical foundations based on Field Education and teacher training are used, together with the difference between the educational ideas of Rural Education and Field Education. The research corpus is composed of works researched from the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and the Theses and Dissertations Catalog of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). With the corpus formed by 10 files and records based on studies by Fiorentini, Passos and Lima (2016), this article seeks to report some characteristics of the archives through the methodological and theoretical perspective used. Regarding the final considerations, it is possible to observe in the works analyzed a concern with the quality of training of professionals who seek the Licentiate in Field Education course, also extending to the qualification of those who teach Mathematics.
