The Sonic Entropy podcast was developed as a community outreach project of the Federal University of Technology of Paraná - UTFPR, Campus Cornélio Procópio, in the period from 2017 to 2019, in order to develop scientific divulgation activities, aiming at an improvement in the quality of the general public education. Several topics of physics were discussed in the form of relaxed podcast programs, merging information and progressive, intellectually stimulating songs. Complementary themes of physics disciplines were presented in a modern language and in a culturally dynamic environment, seeking to stimulate the scientific curiosity of both students and the interested general public. Invited experts discussed specific topics and professors from the Cornélio Procópio Campus and other institutions were interviewed, bringing the internal and external communities closer to the scientific and cultural production of UTFPR. Existing science fiction works were discussed, and other original small stories of the genre were created in order to dialogue with the concepts of physics, thus stimulating the imagination of listeners and reflection on the progress of science.
