Panorama e tendências da pesquisa brasileira sobre biochar no tratamento de águas: Uma análise bibliométrica

Resumo

Nas últimas décadas, a pesquisa sobre a aplicação do biochar no tratamento de águas tem emergido como um tema de crescente relevância científica. Diante desse cenário, o presente estudo realiza uma análise bibliométrica com o objetivo de mapear o panorama e as tendências da pesquisa brasileira voltada à utilização do biochar para tratamento de águas, destacando sua evolução temporal, principais autores e instituições, periódicos de maior impacto, redes de colaboração internacional e palavras-chave mais recorrentes. A busca booleana foi conduzida na base de dados Scopus, resultando em 268 documentos publicados entre 2010 e 2025. Para a análise quantitativa e visual dos dados, foram utilizadas as ferramentas VOSviewer e Bibliometrix. Os resultados revelam um crescimento expressivo das publicações, especialmente após 2018, com uma taxa média anual de 32%. Observou-se ainda uma forte colaboração entre pesquisadores brasileiros e internacionais. Este estudo identifica os principais atores científicos e institucionais do campo e fornece perspectivas futuras sobre o avanço e consolidação do uso do biochar para o tratamento de águas.
