This qualitative study aimed to investigate the content expressed in the GPT Chat about adventure sports at school. The study was developed through exploratory research, made with the insertion of the search terms “adventure sports definition”, to understand the concept and “adventure sports at school”, exploring this association. Data were analyzed using content analysis and indicate a simplified and minimized version of the concept, in which activities were associated only with the outdoor environment, to the detriment of other practice environments, such as indoor and virtual. There was emphasis on experiencing challenges and possible physical and mental risks. Examples of land, water, air and ice activities were cited and the importance of adequate training for safe practice was mentioned. Regarding the inclusion of adventure sports in the school, there was mention of the benefits at the physical, cognitive and social levels, in addition to the possibilities of expanding emotional, communication, teamwork, leadership and overcoming limits skills. The information is somewhat consistent with studies in the area, but the limitation and superficiality of this information are denoted, even though globalization may favor a greater range of information.
