This study will analyze the news that denounced the violence applied against several women militant opposition in dictatorships in Brazil and Uruguay, between 1964 and 1985, from the underground newspapers A Classe Operária” and “Compañero. Aiming to typify violence and making observations if the writers made use of gender constructions in order to encourage readers to fight against these governments. To use such analyzes Gender Studies, the Comparative History and Oral History. Gender constructions were found in some news.
