The Gestão e Sustentabilidade Journal - RG&S has just been indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) — one of the most important international directories of open access scientific journals. The journal's official page can be accessed at: https://doaj.org/toc/2596-142X

Indexing in DOAJ represents an important milestone in the publication's trajectory, reaffirming its commitment to editorial transparency and free access to scientific knowledge.

This recognition also highlights the work of the editorial team, reviewers, and authors who, over the last years, have contributed to strengthening the journal and disseminating its scientific production.

This achievement marks the beginning of a new stage. Inclusion in DOAJ is the first step in a process that now moves towards indexing in databases such as Redalyc and Scopus, expanding the reach and international visibility of the published works.

RG&S has continuous publication process with annual issues dedicated to disseminating research in the areas of Solid Waste Management, Environmental Impact Assessment and Mitigation, Organizational Sustainability and Technologies applied to waste valorization, accepting manuscripts in Portuguese, Spanish and English. The journal adopts double-blind peer review, a Creative Commons CC-BY license and does not charge submission or publication fees, in accordance with international best practices for open access.
