PORTARIA Nº 325/PROPEPG/UFFS/2025 Appoints members of the Editorial Board, Advisory Board, and section editors of the journal Revista Gestão & Sustentabilidade of the Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul

 

 

Editor-in-Chief Selection and Term

The selection of the Editor-in-Chief shall take place through a specific convocation of the Editorial and Advisory Board for this purpose. Any and all members of the board may run for election. After expressing interest, the names will be included on the list of candidates and an open vote will follow; the candidate with the highest absolute number of votes shall be declared the winner. It shall also be permitted to register a ticket consisting of two Editors-in-Chief running jointly, in which case they will share the editorial responsibilities of the journal.
The term of office of the Editor-in-Chief is four years, and reappointment is permitted, maintaining the Editor-in-Chief in office until the next election.
If the Editor-in-Chief resigns, a meeting shall be convened to hold elections within a maximum of 30 days, during which a Section Editor will be appointed by simple vote to act as interim Editor-in-Chief until the new election is concluded.

The journal is committed to maintaining an open channel with readers, authors, and reviewers regarding its workflows and processes. Any communication in this regard shall be sent to the email address: rges@uffs.edu.br, and it shall be the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief to take the necessary actions, whether concerning a suggestion or any matter relevant to RG&S.
