Over the last three decades, the number of papers that seek to investigate the correlation between geography, cinema and moving images has grown exponentially. The objective of this reflection is to bring considerations about the research possibilities that involve these fields. Therefore, we begin with an attempt to differentiate the terms “Cinema Geography”, “Filmic Geography” and “Cinematic Geography”, pointing out that they present specificities that must be taken into consideration when creating geographical problems. In a second moment, it focuses on the discussion of thematic paths that have already been developed by researchers and that can, without a doubt, be deepened.
